We will build a striped pedestrian crossing with an RRFB and ADA-compliant curb ramps across Laidlaw Road where it intersects with Waterhouse Trail. A mid-block pedestrian island in the center lane will serve as a place for users to stop and wait for a gap in traffic. Street lighting and additional signage will improve visibility.
The trail on the north side of Laidlaw will be realigned to meet with the crossing.
